I use Dev C++ (BloodShed) and think it's great. The only thing it don't like is it's tabbing style!

been using BloodShed since it came out, In my opinion there is not a better C++ compiler for free, the easy to use GUI and the availible options make it a prime use for C++ programers.

Visual Studio .NET 2005 EE, it's free and better than Bloodshed Dev-Cpp in my oppinion, and my oppinion is better than everyone elses of course, so take my advice and get it instead of Dev-Cpp.

Hahaha, shut up Arto :p, you know you <3 me & my mad coding skillzB):ninja::happy:

system_meltdown: You should learn to code before you start saying which compiler is superior :p (PWNT) jk, <3 (noob )

Btw, Arto, the answer to your signature "If you reach the end of the universe what would you see … a hole ?" is No, you would reach the end of the extent of my power and would therefore reach freedom of my unforgiving wrath.

Cheers, ~T

I use CodeWarrior and it's pretty good, but everyone else is recommending Bloodshed, so I might switch myself :P

No offense, but Dev-C++ isn't a compiler, nor is Visual Studio. They're IDEs.

(But I'll work under the premise that you're looking for an IDE. :P)

To the OP: What system are you running? That might help narrow downt he reasons Dev-C++ isn't working, or help us find an IDE for you. :P
