Ok, I have tried connecting to a MySQL DB from VB, however I keep running into trouble. I have downloaded the MySQL ODBC, but it still will not work. Any suggestions? like is there any way to do it without the ODBC?

Can you elaborate on what kind of problem you're having? Other than that, I'd say make sure the data source is configured correctly and that you can import tables into Excel or Access directly (w/o code) using the data source. After that, your ODBC objects should work fine. Feel free to show code for your ODBC connection portion (minus sensitive info, of course); it could possibly be a problem with your connection string.

Finally, check out: http://www.carlprothman.net/Default.aspx?tabid=86 They list multiple .Net data providers, and it appears that CoreLabs has a MySQL namespace.
