Yup, from-scratch Total: 1359 lines
HOW TO CHANGE THE BACKGROUND:
Select an image and name it "back.jpg" and place it in "C:\" then start the program only .jpg supported…YOU WILL NOTICE THE LAG…
It reads the notes based on their position: open the notes.dat with notepad and you will notice something like:
R
GB Y G
O E
R = Red Note G = Green GB = Green + Blue O = Orange E = End of the song
How those are translated: Each line is 1/10 sec of the song so the first line means that in the first 1/10 sec of the song make the red note appear can you imagine a 7 minutes track its about 10 * 7 * 60 = 4200 lines thats painfull to do…
test it: change the letters to whatever you want: R to GYO G to R you will see…
If it doesnt start then you have to install net framework 3.5 (default on vista)

I did spend my money on buying a new deck and a guitar (real one) thats why i couldnt afford buying a gaming laptop but i think that with the built -in motherboard graphics we all can play guitar hero now (no need for 3D Graphics Cards)

As a side note, are you gonna get rich/famous/laid with a piece of plastic shit that has a few colourful buttons?
Agreed. I never got into it at all either; I doubt most real musicians would ever consider playing GH or anything of the like.

I hate it when people diss on GH for 'Not being real', I play real guitar, and I play GH, I dont think GH makes me a rockstar any more than GTA makes me a criminal, or Call of duty makes me a WW1 veteran…
Compairing it like that is stupid, fair enough don't like the game, not everyone likes every game, but dont insult it for not being somthing it's not meant to fucking be in the 1st place… thats plain retarted.
My views.

come on moshbat, some people don't have the attention span or coordination to play real guitar :P.. i play guitar, I'm self taught, but i don't mind playing a bit of GH… its just a bit of fun, and just a game.. i do see your point though, i was at my mates place, he owns guitar hero, and was playing this extremely hard riff.. all the time he's waisted getting good at a game and he could have gotten a cheap electric guitar and learned for real.. learn real guitar, but hey, it's just a bit of fun at the end of the day :)
moshbat wrote: Did I make a retarded point? Oops. Well, I know an awful lot of people who play that game. On one occasion, I was playing Freebird in my music class, and some idiot said they could play that better. It turns out they meant on a five button bit of plastic, yet he was insistent that he was a better musician than me. That is just one reason I hate that type of game. Sure, it might be fun to some people; I however find it boring and illogical.
Lol…
Hate that person, call HIM the retard…. Also give him my ps3 ID, ill smack all the fake GH pride he has right out his ass XD

ok, thats where it goes to far.. when the idiots think that they are music gods because they can play GH.. that is stupid.. i see your point now, and that guy is a retard..
