when we type any address in the address bar of our browser then how to catch that address within an java program.

i have to make a java program in which i have to catch a address that is being typed in the address bar of the browser. the address that we type in the address bar should be displayed in the program

suppose we type 'www.yahoo.com' in our browser i m running a java program in which a textbox is there. when we press enter the address ie 'www.yahoo.com' should be catched and shown in the textbox of my java program.

Now when you say you "have to" make this program, I infer that this is some kind of assignment, in which case you ought to have some background learning. If that's the case, then why dont you go over a few of your ideas with us about what you think you need to do to make this work. And if you have no ideas then you're screwed and you fail.
