Is there any point in knowing vb.net to make programs with or is it better to concentrate on C++?

Thanks, CD

Well, CD, at least you… pay homage to your name. You truly are a coding disaster.

Lol, if you say so spyware, and mosh i have tried both, i think visual basic is too simple but it makes making the visual side of the program a lot more simple, and C++ i like coding in it, but i found just by looking at an example that the visual side is a lot more complicated.

I was asking an opinion so therefore it is not pointless unless i don't want to know the opinion.

ok, thanks, so i assume there is no difference in what can be achieved in them?

Assume away. Be warned; you'll fill your head with nonsense.

It's best to stick with one language for a specific type of development (desktop / web). With that in mind, you need to just go ahead and struggle through learning how to do GUI programming in C++.
