I think that there have been maybe 3 in history, and they've all been patched for. Proving someone wrong by giving them a virus is really stupid though…

Edit: Nevermind, although all you have to remember is the fact that very few will want to program viruses for Macs because very little of the market share lies with them. Windows has about 85-90 (I think) of the market and a large majority of them are very clueless about how to safely operate a computer so why bother with a mac?

umm for learning purposes? for all you know he's trying to get into the security market and is looking to specialize in macs which is an overlooked field at this moment. you just proved yourself that nobody is paying much attention to this sector…
