book for pearl

can anyone suggest a book or website that would be great for learning pearl

indeed, but be aware that quite a lot of the code snippets are out-dates, and there usually is now better way to go around it…

There's 2 good perl books i know of..

The camel book..

which gives you a basic introduction to the language, and..

The llama book..

http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596001322/

which is a great reference book and has plenty of worked examples.

I really recommend the llama book.
