Is FORTRAN a language worth learning in your guys opinions? I was thinking of learning it. What are it's strong points and is it used very often? Also for those of you that know, how hard is it to learn for someone with little programming experience?
Being used for mathematical calculations (read: university stuff) a lot, some people ever said that whatever the future brings us, Fortran is going to be part of it.
Is it worth knowing? Depends on what you want to do. But yeah, it's being used, for math, and… stuff.
