Basic guide to setting up a web page????

Hey guys (and gals),

As I’m fairly new to the whole hacking thing please excuse my lack of knowledge or ignorance to the subject.

My younger brother just recently told me that he is receiving malicious comments & abuse from people he knows at school but instead of them been up front and personal about the whole thing they are using ‘Bebo’ as means of bullying him… he’s tried reporting the abuse to site mod’s but little has been done. So this is where I am hoping to step in.

My plan is to phish the little fuckers into giving me their log-in info so I can delete any material aimed at my brother that has been posted and maybe a little revenge (nothing too extreme for libel reasons). I have created a spoof web page that replicates and “error has occurred! Please log back in to continue”. I hope to provide a link to this page by creating an account of a person of similar interests to the target.

So this is where you guys hopefully come in, I need as much info or links to info on the technical aspect of creating a web page and hosting it, as I want to make the URL as realistic as possible. How to I obtain the information they have put in (do I need to upload a keylogger on to their computers or is this infor stored on the website?) How do I redirect them back to the legitimate site once this is done so suspicions won’t be aroused? What is the best ‘FREE’ (without credit card & bank account information) web hosting site??? etc etc…

Much appreciate if you could get back to me on this one!

yes. microsoft has right. you can use mailinator.com for this. also, for THIS purposes i'm suggesting you to use temporary host too, after usage, delete all the data on ftp, and never, never provide them your true e-mail address.

And of course we come the legal issue!! :(

Chances are my line could be tapped because of previous tenant wrong-doings (to put it mildly), OR I’m just paranoid!!! Either way I don’t like taking too many risks concerning my internet activity. (I’m even a bit anxious by just logging on to hellbound hackers!)

First of all is phishing legality a black & white issue or does it concern the context and degree it is used to???

Secondly what steps can be taken “TO ENSURE I DO NOT BREAK THE LAW” ( has to be asked just in case there is a third party receiving the message!)

what kind of "malicious comment & abuse" was that?

Cheers for the input danuc… I had a browse through your myspace article (good read btw!) Just I had problems trying to register for the 100webspace.

Regarding the email… just had a look at mailinator, looks a good idea until I thought well why not just create another with hotmail as they allow several (not sure on the limit if any!)…. or is there something I am missing from the service ie. It cannot be tracked back to the computer used to set it up or something???

mailinator.com is a temporary e-mail. they will delete all mails and box itself after few days, i think without backup, if there is some backup for law, it is only for a week i think, because people usually using this to register on the forum or some other site, for receiving the activation link. you can prevent receiving spam using this form. but it can be used to this purposes, i've tested it.

anyway, you can use my script as you want. just maybe modify it to writing the logs, if you get stuck, write here and i will modifiy it for you. also, i think that you want to get admin privilegies, to being able to delete that content. (i mean local blog admin privilegies, of course ;)) so you can use js to make your url look like something on myspace
