Is this actually a legit site or is it just a huge scam. The idea sounds cool but i don't know if it is actually a good idea.

(I hope this doesn't break the posting rules)

I think that this is quite an important questions, because if it is a fake many people could lose more that just not getting their prize, but they could get their identity stolen.

What do you lot think?

So the only thing that freepay offers is…

nothing!

You will pay for the affiliate scheme and will not receive your prize. Is that what you are saying?

That means that all of the info on thier homepage about people receiving prizes is a load of bull.

That is illegal advertising though isn't it?

one of my friends was into something like this, but not with freepay with something else but i can't remember the name, and i can say that this is 99,80% bullshit

**KANO wrote:**You will pay for the affiliate scheme and will not receive your prize. Is that what you are saying? Like with any other pyramid scheme you only benefit if you're one of the early people in the pyramid

That is true.

I just wanted to start this post to get to know what other hackers thought of these types of pyramid schemes and to let them know of the dangers.

But is there anyway in which they could steal your identity, cos u give them ur address and name which is a lot of info for social engineering and possible identity theft.

You want to warn others but at the same time you invite others to enter:

Quote from your profile Website: http://ipodnanos.freepay.com/?r=40303002

and if you ask me i think just naives can enter into something like this, i mean never nobody don't give you something for free.

no such thing as a free lunch…

it's a good idea though, (for the guy who starts it) since they must be making a fortune off this…

…and there'll always be naive people that believe what these sites say.

It's in the gray-zone of the law. Don't_ever_do_this_kind_of_thing_ever.

Play with fire and get SCREWED OVER by these people, listen to WhiteAcid.

By the time you get your iPod nano (hypothetically) then I'm sure it would be out-dated and you would of paid for it 10x over with spam and affiliate sign-ups.
