Im curious to what programs you would use to make a website template. I think someone told me about a visual studio program? im not too sure. is anyone here a tempalte designer?

Photoshop and a text editor (vi, joe, notepad in windoze) to edit XHTML. Alternatively, Dreamweaver or similar

I'm not a template user, but I use to hard-code anything I make for web. I use Scite source editor (Editor with colorcoding, support for lot of langs) and for the visuals I use the GIMP (opensource Photoshop replacement)
