what i mean is: what do you think about taking music from a site- not going to a site where you can download music, finding a site that has music and downloading it using "download them all"

Good/ Bad/ No Opinion/ RUN CUZ THE POLICE R AFTER U!!!

???

its soo easy to download songs - even for noobs. You can rip them off utube easily, a filetype google search, limewire and morpheus if you want a load of spyware and bittorent, uttorent etc for torrents.

You could even use itunes :o which i always laugh at because they sell ipods with room for 1000's of songs and expect you to fill it with songs from itunes @ 79p per song which works out to be very expensive.

i think the RIAA should stop pursecuting people who download and distribute copyrighted music, and instead spend all the money RIAA uses, and either: a) distribute it to artists based on % of music downloaded b) invest in alternative media to distribute music

i think B, beause the music business needs to wake up and realise, people are and will download your music. fuck CD's and single's etc, you need to develop an alternative media to distribute your music.

perhaps have online radio stations like pandora, and people subscribe to it and that money goes towards royalty rights etc etc etc.

Well i buy jazz CDs mainly because i can't find that music on P2Ps…but they are cheaper than most of the others and i like having a little CD collection. BUT…..i also have a lot of music on my HDD (around 10GB of songs, but they are mainly instrumental to play on).

If i wll ever record something, it won't be a job and i will spread open-source music with arrangements and sheet music. Anyway i guess that the law will punish me if the songs aren't written by me…
