Stupid pokemoncrater

My little bro plays a game called pokemoncrater and his computer crashed lately so i have to share with him because he wants to play that stupid game.

And i whas thinking is there a way to trick him to another page saying his IP is blocked when he visits that page.

That would stop him from playing the game and i would have more time on the computer .

Thx Vytas

… Or you could help him fix his own computer :right:

just make an extension for firefox that does that. easy :)

(except I know nothing about coding extensions, so it actually might not be worth the time.)

Well i could fix his computer , but then i need a writeable cd or diskette wich i don't have. I need to buy the diskette's or cd's first so it's a temporary solution.

But what was that about the extensions ?

Block it totaly from your computer.. because my schools filter only blocks out sites from a list. The "IT TECHNICIAN" had a program in wich that you could type in a site MUHAHAHAHA, blocked.

i know a bit about them theyre basicly js and xml or xul kinda annoying its not worth it i would just find a way to make a proxy then make it block that site eiher that or get some kind of filtering software and block that site

Totally blocking is a bit harsh and it would only get me in trouble with my little bro.

Is there a way to know wich page is being requested by a computer ?

Then it would be possible to end that tab right and open the file on my computer saying that he got an ip ban?

If he is using FireFox you could get greasemonkey (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748) and make JavaScript for that page so that it shows whatever you want when the page is loaded. JavaScript can control the whole site so you can even clear it and then make your own page :P

Quick googling gave me this: http://www.opera.com/support/tutorials/userjs

So I guess you don't even have to add anything to Opera as it already supports custom javascripts :D (Firefox is still far better <3) You just have to make the script. If you don't know how you should do it this might help: http://diveintogreasemonkey.org/toc in the common patterns (4.) section there is guides on how to put content in to a site. You could for example put a div in there (so that it covers most of the page) and then write in the center that your IP has been banned, although it won't go over flash banners so that might not be the best idea.

You can make it seem that your computer has crashed. I just helped one of my friends fake that his computer was dead because his little sister is on the damn thing 24/7. It was too easy, I just got on there, made a batch (if running windows) that said shutdown -s -t 00 and then scheduled the task to take place everytime the computer starts. That way whenever the computer is turned on, it turns right back off.:D

If you're on Windows, edit the hosts file so when he enters "www.pokemoncrater.com" it redirects to a fake page.

Not much harder than that.

You should then proceed to help your brother and fix his computer for him.

I was reading through all the complicated ways of doing something like the dude wanted. i got to this and thought thank fuck for that, someone actually being helpful.

for the dude with the problem. fix your bro's PC, big fuck if u gotta buy a CD-R or a floppy, u can pick em up for a 5er for a pack of 10, and ther are more uses than that aswell.
