hello, I am also new and like you I only know some HTML. Though I consider myself to be fairly well versed in every day computer knowledge, I know next to nothing when it comes to hacking.

well ur in the right place to ask for help! if you have any question you can ask the forum or you can ask google. Mr. Google Knows all. i would go to http://www.w3schools.com/ cause they have almost every main programming language out there. good basic tutorials. also, borders books has some good books that i recommend. also dont even go to sites that have .gov at the end of them cause you wont like them and they wont like you. ( plus i what i am saying this for leagal purposes.)

well i got macromedia flash free hand fire works and dream waver they are so hard to use

for graphic i would say gimp. gimp gimp gimp gimp!!! its the best darn free graphics prog. out there. google it.

Greenday, something I'll suggest to you right now to improve is simply grammar and spelling. Don't make multiple posts in a row, and include as much information as you can in every post. As far as graphics, Gimp is good, but you cannot compare Gimp to Photoshop. I use Gimp for simple photo editing, then I use Photoshop for designing and hardxcore photo editing. Dreamweaver and Flash will have no purpose making a signature image.
