Yup I heard about that. The FBI actually used the microphone on a drug dealers razr while it was off, they had somehow gotten java software on his phone to keep it open like a mic 24/7 as long as it had it's battery in it. Damn this surveillance is just getting fucking ridiculous, I don't see how this doesn't infringe on our first amendment rights. :(
Well they have access to all of your ISP's logs, all day long all the time. So yes, everything you do, type, say or anything on the internet, the FBI has at it's disposal. And of course proxies would do absolutely shit to stop that because the FBI has a direct link to your every move via the logs of your ISP.

well can they moniter my psp browsing? or if u have a laptop with a wireless card?
its still connected to the internet, oh well i live in england XD. sorry for you poor american "h4x0rs" ( note the qoutes ) out there.
P.S. ( i dont use a PSP very often so correct me if im wrong ). P.P.S if i went to america would it still afect me even though im connected to the UK? P.P.P.S i hate my sig.
about using wifis at starbucks or whatever…I'm pretty sure they log your mac address (if you don't know what that is google it) which is unique and static, so they can track you down. I've heard of mac address spoofers but I'm not sure how they work or how effective they are. (I'm assuming it would be the same for psp's too)
on linux you dont even need a spoofer program, there is a commandline command to change it. i too, however; don't know how effective it is.
i figure using proxies will still be important. yes, whereever you connect from will log what you do, but odds aren't good they'll look at the logs without reason (too many for them to that with) and only look if they have a reason. so if you bounce off a proxy (or three) then you should still be in basically the same boat you were in before. xD
