How fast is your download and how much do you pay for it?

Damn that's fast, because in the us (and my isp) the fastest i've seen on cable is 10mb. I have a friend in Denmark who said he could get a 1gbps dedicated up and down for around 50 dollars us (equivlent) (including the discount he gets from being in an apartment)
guarantee my mom's connection pwns all of yours
30mbps $0/month (she gets it through her work) http://www22.verizon.com/content/consumerfios/packages+and+prices/packages+and+prices.htm ^her isp
the only problem is i can only use it when she brings her laptop home. :( So normally im on 1.5mbps for about $40.
internet speed tests say 1.9 m/b at the main computer, mine gets only about 1.1 m/b apparently though i have yet to experience actual download speeds over about 300 kbps. I cant remember how much but we probably pay a lot because we are with lovely NTL. I recommend them to anyone who enjoys crap service. (the only thing they were quick about is disconnecting the tv after we told them to stuff it)
I want a decent ISP but all others need a BT phone line and we dont have a good connection. :(

lol
6Mbps for $45.
Fastest download I ever got, though, was a ~200Mb ISO image at 15Mbps on the T1 at my old job, over HTTP. Before that, 3Mbps over HTTP in Firefox on Gentoo, on my cable connection (listed above).
Still, none of this matters compared to the 30Mbps mentioned by someone else above… that I wish I had. :(

lol…. I highly doubt you have 100mbps for your internet speed. That is most likely your lan speed.
Anyways, mine varies from 5mbps to 10mbps. According to speedtest.net at the moment I have, 5.7mbps download and .5mbps upload. I pay $50 / month which is close to 25 british pounds.
I have 1.5mbits per sec download anf 256 kb upload so roughly around 150 KB per second downloading speed
oh and i pay $35 bucks a month, but im bundled with the company with my phone and mobile phone so yeh, but generally i get 50% of any of their plans so without my dicount it would be bloody expensive $70 a month.
