Depends. I like BitTornado myself, but other people use different ones. Just download and try some… if you find one you like, keep it. Google is your friend when you're trying to find a "program to download torrent".

…Or, you could have a reason like that. :ninja:

Did not know that, btw. Might have to see if I can play in VB.Net with a torrent client. ;)

I know uTorrent is a very popular bit torrent client, but I also like Azuerus, which is written in Java, has a really nice interface, is open-source and is cross-platform.

I will be the first utorrent fanboy.

seriously, get it, it's the best one.

:D

it's pretty easy for a beginner to use, compared to some of the more complex setups that I've seen in azureus, and also TINY. I'd start out with that or the standard Bittorrent, so you can figure out how to use it. azureus seems to work better or worse depending on your computer/internet connection/etc, and requires a bit more tweaking to work properly. I haven't tried BitTornado, and I've heard both bad and good things about it. /shrug.

good luck.

I tried out BitTorrent and didn't really like it, but then I got uTorrent, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Seriously, get it, it kicks ass.

I dont know of any but it would probaly be possible to code in your own torrent manager into your download manager providing it was opensource. PS hope this helps.

µTorrent is the best client in my eyes. Azureus is too much of a resource hog, and it's really slow compared to µTorrent.

Whatever you do, don't use BitComet/BitLord/BitSpirit/Shareaza, as they don't comply with the BitTorrent protocol, and are banned from many private trackers (and many people block connections to those clients).
