Wardriving

I recently got into war driving and i now have a problem. I a Intel Pro Wireless 3945 a/b/g. But now i am finding the problem where i cant do much with this new card. So i need two programs for either linux or windows that allow me to capture packets and then compute the encryption. Any programs that support my card would be appreciated.
