On-Screen Computer Recorder

I've been googling for about a month and it's so ridiculous; I can't seem to put together the correct keywords or there is just nothing like this at all:

I need a 100% FREE computer on screen recorder, used for making video tutorials etc.. Anybody know of something like this and where to get it?

hypercam 2 easy to use. You can select the region to record or pick the window. http://www.hyperionics.com/ Its good and free. It does have a small window box on the top left hand corner that says unreagestered hypercam 2 but its small. It only says it because its the free verison.

Do you want it to be free, or do you want to get it free…because Camtasia Studio is much better

I prefer CamStudio http://www.camstudio.org/ It works fairly well, is free, and can save to either AVI or flash. Maybe those are all common features, but I still prefer it for some reason

yeah i use cam studio…you have to configure some settings so the video is matched with the voice or whatever…but thats not that hard just play around with it

it also has no thing that says unregistered whatever and the whole avi or swf thing is cool too..so you can edit it with flash i guess :happy:
