Help with port 666

Well i scanned my victim and i found there is an open port 666 (Attack FTP). Any way i can attack the victim through this port ?

Hm…isn't 666 a backdoor and/or the port Doom runs on?

Its also used by snorter, a web application for the snort management.

I am not sure i think there are serveral things running on this port.

Try to banner grab it or try to get something to let you know what it's running on that port.

As someone already mentioned port 666 is used for the first Doom game, but also for many backdoors and stuff including Attack FTP, lpdw0rm, Shadow Phyre, ServU, Satans Back Door (SBD), NokNok, Abel, Back Construction, BLA trojan, th3r1pp3rz and BackConstruction.

Lol, abel of Cain & Abel is well know trojan. Del the abel.exe from your cain installation directory.

No, it's the one from Cain & Abel ^^

However, Abel is the backdoor part of those two. Cain is the controller of the backdoor, which also has some other built-in tools B)

Well didn't you read the manual for Cain & Abel or at least the information at http://www.oxid.it/ before using it?
