msn conversations as evidence....
i have recently gotten into a whole load of trouble. This is because in a MSN conversation i said an insult about a teacher. The person i was talking to who was supposed to be my mate took a copy of the conversation to school and gave it to my headteacher. It was a private conversation between only me and this "mate" of mine and happened out of school. Because of it i am now suspended for 2 days which i dont think is fair as it was out of school and MSN conversations can easily be faked (tho it wasn't unfortunately). I was just wondering if the school is allowed to use it as grounds to suspend me. iv tried googling it but no decent results. does anyone know if they are allowed??? And has anyone else suffered similar experiences like mine??
They can easily be faked, and it would NEVER be enough in court for example. However this is a small case (just between you, your "friend", your teacher, the principal and your parents) and it won't get to court, so I guess you'll just have to stay home. :p
If you lie and say that your friend faked it, you might get into much worse troubleā¦
Good luck!
i havnt lied cos that wud get me more screwed but i still think that my school shudnt be able to do that. there was another person who got suspended for a msn conversation. The problem is that my head dosnt realize how forge able they are despite me telling him this and that he should be careful with similar cases like this in the future. MSN conversations should be discounted as evidence.
It makes me so annoyed with the media because the subject was about how poor the school security is and how little the admins know and now my Head and the ict adins think im a evil hacker who spreads viruses and worms and that if i go near any school pc i will crash the network
