English?

I have noticed that, despite the many good challenges and information storage facilities that enrich the HBH website, that the English language isn't as well spoken out for as the hacking skills displayed. No offence but you guys could use an English speaking/writing person to correct any mistakes. It makes it look just that bit more professional if the whole play is written in good (perfect) English.:|

Edit by The_Flash. Just correcting your English :]

I have been thinking this too, but I'm not sure if there is anyone who want to go through all the articles here.

i think this is a useless waste of time. no offense, but its the internet. nobody spells everything correctly. as long as it can still be read, let it be. i happen to be a horrible speller. not my strength. the internet is a place where crappy spellers like myself can come and misspell and tear apart the English language to our likings.

well it would be nice to have perfect spelling/grammar on this website, but i'm gonna have to go with bigggnick here, it's just not worth the time and effort.

I agree with bigggnick also also, not everyone speaks english so they might just be learning so you cant blame them

I've defiantly got to agree. this would take far to many man hours and really, in the end it doesn't matter much. the professionalism lost by it is minimal since we are not sending em out to potential buyers or such…. just my thoughts

lol i agree with bignick as well as you may know from one of yesterdays post when netfish corrected someone's grammer for the billionth time. professionally or not the information is conveyed.

I think the most important thing isn't to rewrite all old articles, but to make sure our new ones are as good as possible.

i think that whilst people should use english to the best of their ability when writing articles it dosnt matter so much in the forums and certainly not in the shoutbox . it would be a waste of time going through all of the articles and i dont think anyone would do it unless they had some serious incentive

just my views but its a hacking website not an english exam

But it doesn't hurt anyone if correct grammar, capitalization and punctuation is used. Unless you type like a few characters per minute, you won't lose much time by for example writing 'you' instead of 'U' in the shoutbox.

Not in these forums you don't.

I used to type like 'wot u bin up 2?'… then I saw the light and realized it's a bad habit to have. Now I can type consistently with correct capitalizations etc etc

I can speak basic French. Minimal Spanish and English.

I hope to be able to structure a conversation in the majority of European languages by the time I am working
