http://www.zektek.com/cookie.xpi

it's the same one, but, this one is fixed.it will work with FF2. you can easily mod extensions yourself… rename the xpi to zip or the jar to zip and mod away :D when you're done:repack it,rename them back, and try it…

hope that helps…

Another way to make older extensions work in FF2 is to download the Nightly Tester Tools extension. One of the options on there is to "Disable addon compatibility checking". There is also a button on the extensions window to "Force all extensions to be compatible".

It's probably easier to do it this way because if you disable the check, all addons will install (and 99% of them will work just fine).

there are different versions of the nightly tester tool, not all work like they should, neither for the themes. sure shot is to edit the addons yourself. and you are allowed to do so…

@mastergamer>you say: nightly tester tool is the easiest way? it's not!you have to find a good version of it,that works for you, that might take a while….make everything compatible… inside those add-ons are filles, which contain info about the min&max version, the addon is designed for?i think, changing 1.6 to 2.6 is MUCH easier then downloading something,to make another thing work.

edit

it would be better for ther overal performance of firefox too, to edit it yourself, hence, you don't install another addon!

peace.
