@tancurrom , "inspired by shoutbox posts" idk why but it made me laugh lol
@grindordie , love your sig man
back on topic , lol dont just tell me u have a wimp harddrive , how big is it like a year back i had a 30 GIGGER ! pissed me off to cause my g/f had a bigger one then me lol and she cant even frikin open up IE
My Internal HD is 40 GB, and I bought an external with 120GB. But my friends dad, who is in the Special Ops in the army, he has a friend on base who used to work at maxtor, and he had a bunch of his friends make him a 80 TB harddrive, he goes to blockbuster and rents as many movies as possibkle, and rips em all onto there so they can wath it when they are stuck on base. I gues the worst hardship over there is boredom, cause you have to sit on base for ages. So 80 TB of movies can't be that unwelcome.
@xTc about the 80 tb external: I thought the same thing, but apperently, Maxtor makes them for the government, and when they have a flaw (sometimes just dumb little ones like a wrong connection or something) they just throw them out because it would take to long to look for the problem and they could make just as much by making more and selling them and get an increase in price. So, under the table of course, his friends at Maxtor made one (I don't know the size, but apperently its pretty big) and just said it had a flaw and instead of throwing it out just gave it to him. It was nice of them, NC

55.6 gb total.. :( 2 gb flash drive (woot)
yea..thats about it..
I have a question though. How much would it cost me to get an external harddrive, and is it worth the price? How many gigs should it be?

I have 105GB of music, several movies, a few complete TV series, torrents, rainbow tables, Ghost image files, and other backups. But the 750GB is all SATA-II so the data isn't lagging my system. The only IDE drives I use are the ones hooked up with USB/IDE adapters. (sorry about the double post earlier)

I got a new computer which means a different keyboard..it's bigger than the one i had on my laptop..I make typo's here and there.
Main PC: Primary Master: 80GB - Windows Installation Primary Slave: 10GB - Temporary Linux installation until I can get a dedicated box or bigger drive SATA: 200GB - Data Storage, Transfer, Backups and whatever else I need.
My laptop only has 10GB on it's drive. But it's an old Thinkpad R30. It's usually accompanied by my 40GB external drive though.
Currently I'm using a laptop which is 5 years old and a Dell at that… however, I do have a desktop back home… although it isnt together…
Laptop
40 gb internal
Desktop
250 gb external at the moment
Thumb drive
2gb
not much to brag about but hey it works and thats all that matters at the current moment…
C: 250GB D: 250GB H: 400GB and on that I have 2x 250GB externals and a laptop with 40 GB
1440 GB ?
Well since everyone else is thucking in their usb's and what not… 1GB usb aswell as like 5x 215mb onece<.< 1gb shared over my phones 1gb mp3 player (can't afford an ipod :> ) then I have that junky old laptop somewhere with 5gb :>
i have 12in. girth wise! I use it to slap people… who post stupid threads like this one.
(this is irrelevant anyways, why don't admins immediately lock threads like these — i mean what can someone learn from this SHIT!!!)
THIS IS WHY MANY LEFT. THIS IS WORTHLESS AND ONLY FILLS SPACE (pardon the irony here).
