Conflicting Antiviruses?

HEY Has anyone out their heard of having two antiviruses on a machine (Norton and AVG) confliciting with each other?. I just need some help please thats all. Thanks SANTA

Happens with almost any two anti-viruses… never have more than one antivirus running at the same time, same goes for firewalls.

Yeah, never use double AVs.. Both think the other one is a virus trying to take control over the av lol :)

Well, if you think about it, they really are viruses of a sort. They give a program your access to your hard drive, mabye even higher access, and they can run arbitrary code. You're just giving your computer to a slightly more reputable organization to avoid giving your computer to a, um, less reputable organization. However, some of them are pretty good, and some of them (coughcoughnortoncough) keep deleting netcat.:angry:

lol norton keeps deleting things it says shit like: Virus found Type: Hack tool Name: Cain and Able (or Brutus, JTR, etc.) Status: File was deleted

lol the only way to stop it from immediatly deleting them is to turn auto protect off. is there a way i could give these programs access without turning auto protect off? thanks
