I need a PHP host because i love hbh. keep up the good work! is constantly offline and stuff…

I don't mind putting ads on my site as long at it's not intrusive and doesn't invalidate my XHTML (I'd prefer to just put the links on myself if possible)…

I'd prefer FTP but don't really mind what I use to upload stuff…

I don't necessarily need MySQL but if I can get it for free on a good host I might as well get it because I'll probably have the site for a while.

Hosting my own is out of the question for many reasons

I'm already on da_joob it censors it and I hate the downtime and whenever I go to upload the hard-drive is outta space… I'll try freehostia but think I already checked them and ecided against it

Edit: Freehostia require a valid phone number and possible CC/PayPal even for free hosting… Things which I do not wish to disclose…

how can they tell if a phone number is valid :P

Last time I entered random numbers and I'm pretty sure it said they were going to call the number within a certain amount of days… Maybe that was a different host though… if you've done it you can verify this?
