hey HBH community, i just got this book "Steal this computer book 4.0" by Wallace Wang, i must say after reading it, it was an excellent book. It starts off by telling you the hacker mentality and how to think for yourself and how to question authority, then it goes into the history of hacking (Capn Crunch :] ) then it goes into how viruses work, ANSI bombs, the first internet, rootkits, phising, wireless, trojans, RATS(remote access trojans) keyloggers, social engineering, warez, and SOO much more. It also contains a CD with over 648MB of tools and articles. I bought it for $29.99. It's a great book, and i suggest u take a gander :p

I got that book too….it is mostly on the history on hacking, but it has some great references and the disk has some good programs on it that if you already have, might want to give it to your friends to maybe get them interested in hacking. :p I didn't steal it though, trying to give hackers a good image. Whenever I read books that might say "Hack" on the cover, kids flood around you and tell you how you might go to JV. It is a little off topic, but these people are so misinformed.
