Stupid Firefox

Hey guys i need help. My computer was stuffing up, there was like a white line along the top of my screen, so i just press reset on my computer, and started it back up, and when i ran firefox, all my bookmarks are gone, there are no search-engines, and if i resize the window then the site sort of bobs up and down. How can i fix it?

You could obviously uninstall and reinstall and next time use a service such as del.icio.us to store your bookmarks.

Also apologizing for bashing the greatness which is firefox couldn't hurt.

yeah i know, firefox is the best browser to use, but ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling about 12 times. the last time this happened i reformatted cos my computer stuffed up and then when i installed it it worked

i got my bookmarks back but i cant get my searchengines back. even if i install them they dont show up
