Help with telnet

when i type in telnet mail.hotmail.com 25 all i get is a blank screen for like 10 seconds, then it goes back to a normal screen… :(

Help?

are you telnet it self or cmd because if you are in telnet then dont put telnet but if you are in cmd then do put it. however i have yet to ever recieve any of the emails that i have tested doing the method you are trying. It always says "Queued for Delivery" but i have yet to recieve one and it has been a couple of weeks lol.

nah i've tried both, i don't even type anything else in…..

i type the

telnet mail.hotmail.com 25

and then the screen goes blank…

i've done it from schoold and it works perfectly but at home, not a chance

well it might just be that telnet hates you :( lol
