To all those that don't get it
Alright, i feel it is time to make something clear to those who just don't get it. I have, in the past month, been called a little kid who can't, "hack out of simulation," by, at the very least, 10 people. Just in the past month. Not the exact words, but the best words i can come up with at this time. This means that they think i can only do simulated challenges and not the real thing. They say this because i would not hack or help them hack a site. They will then, i swear to whatever you believe in, all of them, but 1 that i remember, compared me to system_meltdown. Why do they do that, simple, he has the most HOF entries (now, when i talk about system, i mean absolutely no disrespect in any way, system_meltdown is a cool and crafty devil, and could probably kick my ass in any web hacking challenge). Seeing as i have no HOF , they think that i can not hack a real site.
Now, let me make something very clear, just because someone has a little points, no HOF, no nothing, does NOT mean that they can't hack. Me, personally, i like to take advantage of things. I have found a few things and told people about them, to which they fool around with. These little holes tend to get patched sooner or later. Only, one time, an exploit i found got out of hand, i think cheese knows what i'm talking about (sorry, lol). I will not name them in open public, but the exploit had been used to do damage to the site. One, that i found, i told to the open public (i.e. the forums) and didn't have chance to make a small thing larger. This is simply because i was at school (thus why i was using IE and part of the title bar is blacked out) and didn't think i would be on for a while, so i just let it out. This was to which cheese easily patched. You can go to that post here:

So, just because i don't have an entry to HOF, does not mean i never found anything. I only look for things on this site when i'm extremely bored. Like when you put a half-assed xss into the login, you got a canadaestore header, which when you went to the site, had a hbh directory on it, to which i found extremely strange.
That was just me and my little story of events. So, just to recap on the main point. Just because someone has little to no points, or does not have any HOF, post in the forums, etc. Does not mean they don't know anything, i just wish some of you would stop saying shit like that.
***I felt this was needed so i, and other people, would stop getting harrased by these types of people.

Well in my case I can't and I can't hack my way out a simulation either. :( But really what would be the point on a totally unprovoked attack that would wind you up in jail within weeks?:|
Agreed. People come here to learn. We have black hats, Grey hats, White hats. I dont tell too mnay people what i can do and usually dont help people to attack a website. I know im not super elite. I knew that much all along. But when someone says I am totally useless I really dont care.

Every poster above me has a good point, but i only used HBH as an example. I think people learn best through example.
I think the reason why i made such a big deal about it is, that i am getting very annoyed. Sure, there was normally maybe 2 people/month that do this, but 10 is just too much. I don't mind if people add me to their messengers and ask me questions, i'll help them, but if people are just going to add me and ask me to help them hack or hack a site, i don't want to put my messenger public then. I don't think that would be fair to those who really want to learn what i could possibly teach them (not saying i'm elite or whatever, but i have things i can teach). I'm most likely not the only one with this problem either, i just would hate to see this turn into some kind of trend. That's all.
