Movie Proposition

Me and Frozen flame had an interesting convo on the movie "Hackers". I think this movie portrays hackers in a completely wrong way. So I came to a conclusion that I could make a better movie (of course for an amateur film maker) that portrays hackers.

BUT I need people to play in this movie. Anyone who is not afraid to show their face to a camera and knows how to act to an extent and has a great deal of skill with computers can participate in thsi movie project.

Its on a first come first serve thing. I will be writing the script with Frozen Flame and coding "FAKE" websites to create the illusion of hacking

-nothing will be real ie no real big exploits because this is not an educational film on how to hack but an entertaining film for us and anyone whos interested.

-this will all be shot individually through each member because it is based on a group of people online around the world that hack together for defeating a greater good(storyline is still not determined)

-everyone will get an equal part in the movie and have plenty of lines to read.

• this movie might even help promote HBH to non-members.

-It will be shot during the summer and will be given out in december for FREE to all members who have bought a tshirt from HBH.

actually i'm in the process of making like 3 potential movies right now. none of which i'm working on very hard. ima have to start those soon…lol but yea it might be nice to know what i'm doing.

the movie will be made individually amongst each of us. you will be given a script and a basic idea of what to do. you and your friends will then record your parts and submit them to me.

lol! it's a damn good thing this is scripted…otherwise i might get a little too out of hand…you shoulda seen one of the movies i made last year. it was called 'when houses attack'…i think that kinda lets you know already how sad it is.

heres what we have so far:

"A group of hackers that have never met face-to-face join together to help free one of their companions.(A hacker by the name of Reload) Reload has not been communicating with the group for a while and the group is getting suspicious. Until one day they recieve an email encrypted with a message for help. Being underarrest Reload is being watch closely by the FBI and is in a lockdown for transferring money into an account. He was framed though. Their mission is to free him of all charges, find the real hacker and put him in jail, and leave no evidence."

what we want to know as far as your hacking skills, is your area of expertise.

rooting? web hacking? war driving? stegano? encryption? SE?

stuff like that.

oh, well im fairly good at web hacking but i havnt mastered it my any means & i war drive often. in fact ive mapped my entire town but i need to fix my laptop (i think it need a new charger board) , as far as stegano ive done all but three so id say im pritty good at that as well not so great with encryption and im good at SE. ive got both of mitnecks books so on. um… i use linux if that helps. dont know how it would but its out there now… im good with electronics ex. Im a Phone Phreak any thing else? Also i know HTML, Javascript (kinda) some PHP, Python, and i plan on lurning VB 6.0 as soon as i find an interpriter. Cant think of any thing else, if i do ill post it

I'm great at SE, decent at making Batch Viruses, and I guess I know my way around Javascript injection pretty well by now. As you can see, I'm just starting out, so I don't know a whole lot. I like to do logical challenges too, in case that helps at all.

I started reading this topic and i started to drool lol, not realy. This sounds so cool! If you need help with any of the codeing or anything, just let me know. I also thought that the movie "hackers" portrayed hackers rong. I however did like the story line of it :p

no, didnt die. currently writing the story and going to be proceeding with casting and positions afterwards. Movies arnt made in a day.

Okay guys script is done.me and frozen flame are editing it a little bit to make it longer and funnier and cooler effects in some places. we have

3 parts left in the movie

-hacker 1(normal) -hacker 3(has a hangover) -evil hacker(which doesnt have lines as of right now)

each person gets some lines. its more of a 30 minute movie to 1 hour moive than a regular movie. if ppl like it we'll make more.

we need people to audition first come first serve.

so make a clip of you on your computer and say " I want to Star in the Movie"

no.. not really. we dont want to give away the story and ruin it! :)

but in general, the movie is going to be based a lot on Skype, as the way to talk to each other, and at diffrent times, cast will have the camera on them when saying certain things and the others voices will be heard thru the speakers.

At most points tho, you will be doing voice recording and talking on skype while the others record.

lol but thats not all. thats just basically all there is to the acting part. there will be times also when you need to adjust the camera to show the monitor and keyboard and what you are doing.

well skype would be preffered becasue from wat i see its the best video chat out there and its totally free. download from skype.com and install and your done. then add camera and youre ready.

i actaully have acting experiance. i did a radio play that i cowrote for RTE (the national broadcaster in ireland).. im also a amatuer palywright and just got one of my palys commisioned. check out the big boogaloo (cool name:D) in google to listen to my play. i paly the part of charlie if you actually bother.

i also think you should use webcams for a more realistic effect.

perhaps i could persaude you to do a bit of HBH product placement and perhaps wear the shirt in a scene or two, and perhaps have a HBH urban defacement sticker on hte side of the comp ;)
