Gay ass system admins!!

I think system admins are raging homosexuals. Ok. It's not all admins im talking about generally, it would be stupid to generalise about people i haven't met (for all i know all admins could be really nice people), but its the one's who protect networks for schools and suck forth i really hate. I also realise it's their jobs to protect the networks but some admins are just noob end 40 year old wankers who don't know shit all about computers!!!!

My friends mum is a teacher and he uses his her laptop which i think his school may have provided for her as he has not bought one as yet (at 15 you don't usually have that kind of money:() It's connected to the network which her school uses so she can acces her files (C2K i think) so therefore its uses are provoked in certain areas. Now he had no trouble what so ever in doing anything that he wanted, e.i running games and the like, until he downloaded a program using limewire. This resulted in a virus download aswell. His mum returned the laptop to the system administrators to have a look at which they did. He got it back and now the network connections have been blocked!!!:o He is stil recieving signal from his neighbours wireless modem (cheeky :p) but he can't use the w3!!!:o

Could anyone suggest a way that he might beable to get back his internet privileges or run his computer in some way that he will beable to access the net?!?

Unless you can gain any more info on the technique used to block out the connection, I don't think anyone can really help you. Maybe try turning off the Laptop's built-in firewall?

SysAdmins are cool the only reason school admins are stupid is because the schools will hire the closest thing they can get to a true sysadmin

I'm assuming the network connections dialog is blocked, so you can't access anything, and network connections are blocked except for some certain network?

There's usually a way with preinstalled software in order to circumvent these problems.

I'm not sure, i think its a rule created. It says you can't get access to these files contact your system admin. But anything that is blocked it says that. :(

I think system admins are cool:p (wow, go admins go!), it's just the raging homosexual noobs that schools waste money employing i have a problem with.

So, he appealed to the admins. Thankfully they got him most of the priviledges back! He can now run command prompt, but the problem is he can get connected to the internet and play games using it and he can use browsers. When it opens it come up as if he's not connected. Is there any way of using command prompt to get complete control over the computer or in some way as for him to beable to use the net that any of you's all know?
