!split file!

Ok, i need help.Does any1 know how can I split a file and than put each half on 1 CD, and how can i put them back to together after it. i reli need help coz i need to give something to my friend and so on…

so is there any program for doing this or what?

use winrar, in advanced options you can set, split file after … bytes http://www.rarlab.com

lunatic, I found useful a freeware program called "The file splitter"… Its homepage is http://www.dekabyte.com/filesplitter/. In the download section you can get the installer version and the one w/o installer. It can split any file up to 4 GB. After that it creates a some KB .exe wich, doubleclicked resembles the file into its original form.
