So– I have about $5,000 to spend and have a stedy income of $1,200 a month. This is all USD btw. So I never been to the UK and I was wondering if any of you from the UK know of any websites where I can find a room for rent. I really haven't made a choice of where I am going to go but the fact that I am going is def. my next move.

well, my father is a landlord and rents out primarily flats all over the UK, but mainly targetting Brighton and London which is on the south coast.

the typical price for renting a flat, is around £200 - £400 a month, which obviulsy varies depending on location and size.

I'll speak with him later today and see if theres any useful information i can share.

If your looking for websites, then try fox and sons website. They are one of the largest property brokers in the UK.
