Left-Handed People

I was wondering how many of the members here are left-handed ?? :D theorically, it should be 10% but I belive that left-handed people are generaly smarter(just a lil) than the right-handed people, so i expect more than that…and maybe i'm wrong :o so just post a thread and say whether you're left-handed or not.

Firstly, why would left handed people be smarter? There is no reason, that's just stupid.. Secondly a thread is a discussion such as the one you posted, whereas we post replys to this thread. Thirdly you didn't say which you were.

He is worng but left/right handedness effects which side of your brain you sort of use more [kinda] and therefore theoretically what your better at, so it'd be interesting to see a spread of points against left right ahnedeness. with top pointe speople only, meh .

well, basicly i'm left-handed, but i can almost do everything with my right hand as well except writing. yet i feel more comfortable using my left hand.

I'm pretty happy that there are many left handed members. But Being left-handed or right-handed is not the point, each of them have their own abilities, what is imortant is Left-handers + Right-handers together are ..wow unbelievable… thanks GreyFox

i'm left handed but i can shoot with either hand with any firing weapon. it helps me when i hunt and shoot skeets. Although i have never heard of left handed people being smarter, if you think about it; we evolve as a mostly right handed race. Now lets say one of our kids becomes left handed the gravity has affected the muscles more because were not used to using it and it like starting evolution from a different race of people kinda of like. This would cause the person to obtain more testosterone, thus making the gene XYY which has an extra Y=testosterone and X= Estragin which is the female's main chemical in their body. If your wondering how they would get more testosterone think about it, your feet support you legs which support your bag and the backbone is connected to the arm bone which is connected to the neck bone which is connected to the skull which helps protect the brain which means less brain damage which would explain smarter people in left handedness; why you ask?! well, when you play basketball have you ever noticed you jump with your opposite foot…. It may sound retarded but it makes sense if you think about it. JUST THINK ABOUT IT….

The only thing i'm pretty sure about it that left handed people can do much more things with both hands, i mean they can do almost anything with there right hand, just cause they get 'forced' sometimes to use their right hand to do something, and thus get also handier with their right hand, whereas i'm pretty sure most right handed people can't really use their left hand to do specific things with their left hand. Left handed people are used to use their other hand now and then :)

Although, when i broke my right wrist, i decided to try and write with my left and got pretty good at it (pretty good meaning legiable), and i learned to do a few more things with my left hand. The funniest part is, 4 days after braking my wrist, i almost fell into a fire, and got a big burn line straight across my left hand, and the hot metal (the fire was in a metal barrel chopped in half) melted into my skin on my palm and little finger. Currently i have 3 more recent and almost gone marks on my left hand, from a boarding accident, and have so far broken my left wrist 3 times, and my right once.

im a little clumsy :) and my right hand is deffinatly stronger than my left.

Mostly right handed.

I feel special…I'm a righty too… Just like 30% of all people who responded is a righty :P

/me is lefty. Question for ambidextrous people–can you write two separate things with both hands or is that too much brain work?
