Yo. I'm getting a new laptop and I'm wondering what OS I should use I'm thinking dual boot with WinXP & Gentoo but I might use ubuntu.. Depends but if you guys have any suggestions I'd be happy to hear them

I'd suggest you just choose one. I personally think that if you're attached enough to Windows to keep it on there without doing everything possible to make free Windows wrappers work on Linux, that you aren't completely attached to Linux, and Windows would suit all your needs.

I'd say FreeBSD, but thaz' juz' me.
