Free webhosting

I am currently in the middle of learning HTML, XHTML, and CSS and I've been trying to find a site that will host with HTML support so I can test out what I've learned and later build it into a website. But all I can find is stupid little hosting sites with stupid little website builders and no HTML support.

So what I'm asking is if anybody at HBH know of a site that does free webhosting with html support. Honestly I don't care about much else, whether it has ad banners on it or not etc. I just need a place that will support HTML. I don't want to have to input HTML tags into the site builder. I don't even want to have to mess with a site builder.

If anyone could help me with this I would be much appreciative. :D

HTML support? Never heard of it. Just so you know, you can open html files located on your comuter with your browser and it'll work the same. Just create a special folder for it and test things to your heart's content. HTML is just a template that your browser interprets, same with the CSS.

Freehostia, the site spyware mentioned, is one of the best ones, and it supports PHP as well as HTML, which will be useful when you decide to learn that.

I know that you can open html files in your webbrowser, but as I said before, I'm going to end up building my own website so I thought I might as well do it now.

Just get ANY webhost, they all "support" HTML. It's just a file you should store on their server.
