He banned the kid @darkpyroSG for giving his opinion. I hope the intelligent people here will ask the Dictator to UN-BAN him.
Zephyr_Pure(ly ignorant of any Management Skill) has the ability to piss on everyone here and cheese must condone it. I will continue to study and learn. I have enjoyed the past few weeks here. I have studied elsewhere and practiced and accomplished things that are not even taught in this forum. I really see no need to put up with his blatant crushing of those who are simply trying and eager to have acceptance. I need no acceptance. I guess I stood up to him and all he had was bullsh*t responses that show his ignorance. I will respond to PMs if I don't get banned by this Dictator. Governments screw people over daily, you need to just make the best of a bad situation and live on. The "dictator" you keep mentioning has better things to do than ruin your day personally.
I disagree with a lot of the shit in the other thread the OP mentions, didn't reply because I made my point perfectly clear in the shoutbox, that's all that needs to be said about that part.
I won't point out that if you say it's your last post then don't post more (oops, guess I did), but I'll say that if you're going to swear, do it; if not, then don't. Censoring yourself just makes you look like a fucking idiot without any balls to say what you wanted.
That aside, I do actually agree that Zephyr did go a bit too far with banning the kid. True that admins have the power on the boards and that government fuck people over all the time, but that doesn't mean that opinions about it can't be voiced. The users are what make up the community after all. You have to consider one thing though, Zephyr_Pure has to deal with a lot of shit and it's understandable that he's not in the mood to sit around and be taunted/argue with someone. Especially not when he had a valid point, however harsh it might've come off. Considering that, you should understand that if you don't want any shit, then when you notice that he's reaching his limit of what he can put up with, just calm the fuck down and stop senseless arguing. If there's something important to take up with him about it, do it in a civilized manner later when he's calmed down again. Maybe he should've given the kid a chance to change his sig by himself, but he's got shit to do both in real life and HBH so if it seems more effective to just change it then that's what he'll do. Hopefully the user can take a hint, especially when someone else already told him in a thread to scale it the fuck down.

That's the irony of it; I didn't ban him for his opinions. Hell, I even entertained them for a period of time. I banned him because he asked me to. Read the shoutbox archives. I don't ban people for having opinions; opinions make for debate, which makes for critical thinking, which makes for more respectable discussions.

I know you don't, I did read the shoutbox and I just can't see it as a serious request, just an argument where people got a bit too wound up and he blurted out something without meaning it. But since you said you'd unban him that I see as fair at least, since he technically did say it then actually doing it as a warning is fair so he knows that what he says bring consequences. No complaints from my part about that situation.

Oh, no, it obviously wasn't a serious request. At that point, though, he didn't realize that he really had nothing to complain about. I changed his sig to change the overly-large image to a link, with a note that it was too large. He changed it back, I told him not to do it again. He whined and complained, threw in the ban comment, so I just gave him a timeout. He needed to realize that he was in the wrong in the first place.

Yes, I was harsh and not friendly about it; I don't take too kindly to having to do things twice, especially in that god-awful panel. Common sense would've told him that his sig could only be changed by staff, and common sense should've told him to PM the only online staff member (at that time) about it. shrug It's done and past now… just really wish some people would use that paperweight between their ears once in a while.

Which admin do you see most often on this site? Which admin do you see most often on this site donating his opinions? Which admin do you see most often on this site helping people solve their problems? Which admin do you see most often on this site banning people?
Zeph is always here to help. He's the one that puts the "(4/\/ u 734(|-| /\/\3 70 |-|4X0R?!?!?!?11/1!?!1" in their place. He's the one that locks the threads before they get too far. He's the one that bans people before they become too much of an annoyance.
But he's also the one to help anyone that takes the time to write out a real question. He's the one that spurs discussion in the forum. He's the one that enjoys having opinions voiced against him.
So yea, he might piss you off because you don't agree with him. He might insult you and make you cry, but that's only because you deserve it. He, along with most of the other senior members, want to stem the flow of incompetence by dealing out punishments for stupid questions. If you get insulted, then you did something wrong and should probably revise your efforts. Don't argue back, don't take it like it's something personal, because it happens to everyone. It happened to me, and it will happen to you. Stop posting in the forum and get to know the community.
Mods hold the right to edit your stuff for the good of the community. If your sig is annoyingly large, then we have the right to fix it. If you continually post 'ur all fags', then we have the right to fix it. That's just the way it's going to work. We don't ban for minor offenses. You get banned for being annoyingly disruptive, bothersome, or just plain asking for it.
