To all HBH members
In the case that you people hate the commercialized version of Christmas, try celebrating a revolutionary version of it, where instead of having Claus wearing his usual suit, he will be wearing a revolutionary Fidel Castro suit, and all commercialization of Christmas are to be held at a moderate scale, and the lower and working classes celebrated.
Just an opinion, I don't celebrate Christmas anyway.
why don'T you celebrate christmas ? I love christmas especially the presents =) and everyone is in a good mood.
Unfortunately, the interpretation of the commercial aspects of Christmas has, indeed, been interpreted by narrow-minded, self-centered dogshit magnets. The important part of Christmas, once people stop seeing (in their minds) what new toy they don't feel like buying themselves, is spending time with family and making that important to them.
The meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ and the lives that we can enjoy due to his sacrifice; this only applies to those whose beliefs are Christian so, if you're not, just shut up. If you don't believe in Christmas, no one gives a shit. You don't see a bunch of non-Jewish people crapping on Hanukkah, so either share in the merriment or shut the hell up.
Merry Christmas to those of you that do celebrate it. For those of you that don't, move on.
Yeah, religion is stupid but damn you guys are little grinches! Just use it as an excuse to celebrate and meet with family and friends, not to prove how much you know about theology. I hate the kids who always go on spiels about how pro they are on theology…I want to punch those kids in their mouth and tell them to shut the fuck up :@.

You know, he was apparently born a full 25 years later than 0BC. It might have been 25 years earlier than 0BC, I can't remember which. Also, Christmas is a celebration that Christianity stole from another group/religion. That aside, let the present opening begin!
Not to go on a spiel of how much I know about theology/history, but Christmas was formed by Emperor Constantine… by doing it, he merged 'pagan' and Christian religions because he didn't want an uprising to start between them, the crafty politician that he was.

True story. It's rather interesting.
Merry Christmas all. Enjoy the holiday.
Everyone is entitled to their beliefs. This post is for those who believe. I agree with @Zephyr_Pure.

This weakness devours the flesh that is you.
Have fun battling cancer, having decreased lung capacity and enjoy the occasional cough.
Also; take pride in the fact that you can't beat your addiction.

Lol, fair play. And for the record, i have not yet choosen to even attempt to quit smoking either. I plan to slow right down in a few years, very much doubt i will ever truly quit though XD My health, i know the risks, if i drop dead, well, i drop dead don't i? ^^ I wouldn't wanna live to a hundred with never trying any of the bad things in life anyway ;)
It is funny to follow this thread. Impressiv how fast you come from happy christmas to smoking :D
I think it does not depend what religion you have. Nowadays xmas should be a time of love you spend with your family and friends.
If you look back on this year you will see that time is needed. The economic crisis and the wars. Everyone needs time to recover and forget their problems.
Thinking of that i am sad that million og people are starving having no good christnas time. :(

Yeah depression rules over all.
Just remember the theory (forget who came up with it and currently to lazy to look it up) that by going after your own needs you end up helping the world around you more than if you attempted to help the world.

This is caused by the way we're brought up, we're taught to take care of ourselves, not the whole world.
