Your security.
So I was pissing a lot of people off (ya'll might have noticed), and I suddenly realized that was a very bad decision considering my security sucks ass. So I went on the web and started looking for the best programs too protect my computer, I 'bought' the programs but I would like too know what security does everyone else use? I' am currently using Kaspersky Anti-Virius 2009, as well as a few more programs (which I wont disclose cuz currently a lot of people are pissed off at me haha). So yeah, what do you guys use?
@ op:
You might like the Linux distro "everything leaves encrypted". I think it's based off of Damn Small Linux. You will also probably like a few of the tools on www.epic.org. Some are all hype and thick BS, but some are quite interesting. My best advice is don't connect what you don't need to.
And for windows I use kaspersky. free 30 day trials, and some guy on ebay is selling legit keys for $8, which he got from china.
Yeah, well give it a few days king. The password and stuff will most likely go bad. Just like my previous NOD32. Also after that whole pissy thread started I read this tutorial by one of the many flamers.. I think MOSH. It was about securing your computer via regedit and it seemed nesscary after I was through with it. Well keep it real.
Not that I'm saying linux isn't secure, just people's mentality in using it and thinking they are impervious to attacks. Written by Microsoft maybe, you be the judge…

known fact, but it's just due to human stupidity, linux is more secure, linux with stupid people is insecure :)

Well, I don't have any software persay, but i use linux, so I wouldn't be expected to use anything.
Yeah, Theres no way anyone can jack a linux box right? You'll find out someday.
second that:D I'd use IPtables
I know, i never said it was inpenetrable, i just said that it was more stable and secure. I'm looking into getting IPtables setup on my box. I just got linux re-installed to maximize performance, but because of school i haven't had a whole lot of time to work on stuff. :xx:
Just recommending linux, though, becuase personally i think it's way better.
