Sending text message through IP Address?

is it possible to send text message to a person using his/her IP Address?

i suppose MTP(mail transfer protocol) but it's confusing and it's not instant(i think)

but this is all just theory as i havent gotten much farther in protocol as a netBIOS attack

that would be interesting if it worked let me know ill try to do some research on google

Well you can send a text to their email but thats not exactly instant. You can send it too the hotmail instant messenger. Just download it and look around, I havnt used it in a while but theres a certain way to do it. I suppose theoretically you could do the same for any instant messenger you merely need to hack around on your phone.

I used the hotmail messenger to send/receive texts because I can type much faster and I was out of minutes. Easy, effective.

Not really connecting through an I.P. address but still cost effective.

Couldnt you use Netbus to connect wirelessly to their computer and send a message. Sorry if thats now what you mean.
