suggestions for a cat's name

weird topic for the off-topic part, i know.

you see, yesterday i found a kitten in a drain, so i rescued it.

well, i'm thinking of calling it 'grunge' since it was dirty when i found it. (I cleaned it of course)

so any suggestions, but no off-color names or downright stupid names.

Hows about EREBOS he was the primeval God of Darkness ( the drain :P ) in greek mythology.

How about Mate? That way you don't look or feel daft calling it. Also you don't feel so silly talking to it…. My cats called Mate. Works for both genders.

I think some people play too many video games. Would you rather be named "Demigorgon, the Destroyer!!" or… "Max"

naming them after comic book charactors, rappers, or sci-fi movies usually works. (like "The Max")

the cat is actually a female, and i'm thinking of either calling it trippy (since it liked to play around) or codeine since I still have the coughs.
