Magazine Concepts (I was bored)

The other day I was left without access to the internet for a day or two (ISP was being a bitch), and so I played around in Photoshop. I also had a go at recreating some magazine covers in it, although Indesign is probably a lot better for stuff like that. meh.

The first one's layout + colour scheme is based on the March 2008 issue of PCW :happy:

Orange or Red in my opinion… good titles too, kinda made me bummed it wasn't a magazine.

There was talk of reviving the zine.

I'm really thinking of publishing a quarterly one myself, based on interesting forum threads and articles from the site.

If i do it i'll be recruiting, I'll contact you if i think you can help.

the first one. it isn't the best color scheme, but it is the only one that has easy-to-read text. maybe have a box in the background for the others? or change the text color.
