Ungiven credit

This two stories i'm telling right now is true. Sucks being these people.

The first one is a friend of mine(not that close, we usually meet at a LUG) who studies in a military college was given an game project, where the students are free to make anything.

so he ported CS 1.6 to Linux, using SDL as the gaming interface, and the game actually worked.

he got an "F" for it, since the professor thought he cheated. Maybe the guy thought that my pal used Wine.

another one is about a guy who had a certificate as a router specialist (the brand was not mentioned, but you can guess), but it turns out he knew nothing about how the stuff looks and works, since he was trained using an emulator.

The funny thing is, there was another guy who didn't have the certificate, but he knows all about routers, till some said that he fantasizes about them.

but both didn't get the job.

The world sure is a funny place ;)
