ok. my sister likes to download those "Get Free Music" Programs regardless of what i tell her. Now she has a virus that randomly shuts down her computer when shes on the internet. Anyway anyone got any ideas on how to get rid of it? I have tried anything i can think of and cannot find it, so any help is appreciated.

what did u check ? did u check the autostarts ? antivirus ?

i think you can restart windows and go to safe mode, and scan it from there.

and some people never learn, i know that myself.

i remember when my brother d/l 'd a medieval theme pack, and it ended up infecting the computer with around 20 viruses at one go.
