Is a reverse connection when the server of a RAT or trojan connects to your computer. Instead of your computer connection the the server?

In a general connection the situation is where the client connects to a server using an open port (such as the one used by the trojan / RAT)

in a reverse connection, the client opens the port the server connects to.

so the answer to your question is yes.
