I've always wondered if it would be possible to flash a Microsoft surface with Linux and it work correctly. Any of you know?

Seriously, I have nothing against Linux, but I do have something against everyone and their mother trying to put linux on EVERYTHING. If you want linux get a mac or pc and install it on that.

I just get so tired of all these linux on ps3, mp3, and everything else.

why put it on a ps3 and why put it on a mp3 player, just computers. Specially one thats not only a computer but a "big ass table" XD

I'm just saying it's overdone and I can't stand to always hear about it used on everything, I like linux just not that it's getting paired with everything and no one stops going off about it.

First off it doesn't matter if your running Xppro or a version of linux. The only reliable OS is the guy who is using it. I Use both and am very good in them. But if you don't know what your doing eminent failure. There is no advantage to any it's what your good at.

I'm not very good with drives and how it works but i was told all you had to really do is mount everything as a drive but I think there has to be a lot more then just that.

I AM FREAKING AMAZING EDIT**** To the guy about why put Linux on a PS3. i read a artical today about a guy who hooked 16 PS3 togather to make a super computer to run Black hole sims on it. HE said the reason behind it was to get the power that those 16 ps3's have i belive it was u need 400 nodes to do the same work

well you see i'm am going to lose 3 CP on average for every post i make on here tonight.

this is done because people are ass holes and just because what was said didn't make them laugh or was found usefull they want to take it out on someone so they bomb you cp.
