Schmoocon

Anyone going to Schmoocon this year?? I'd like to know because i'm going to be there. It's held in Arizona and it's a huge event. Last year there were over 800 hackers from all around the nation. I hosted one of the conventions covering hardware hacking and i actually set up a live-in talk to hacking. Did anyone go last year?

ShmooCon is an annual East coast hacker convention hell-bent on offering three days of an interesting atmosphere for demonstrating technology exploitation, inventive software & hardware solutions, and open discussions of critical infosec issues.

nice! sounds fun, again if i was in america i'd turn up.

Arizona? On their homepage, it says Washington, DC.

Or am I missing something?

The latest on Schmoocon was that it was in Arizona. Last year it was and the last i heard was from Ryan Clarke. He's a professor at UAT and we are good friends. It's possible that it will be held in Washington, DC. Next time i post on this, i'll have the exact dates. Thanks
