Microsoft Vs Adobe

With mircosoft coming out with there answer to flash with silverlight and trying to take adobes share in uinteractive online appications as well as internet dev by coming out with expressions studio i just want to take some time and get an i dea of what you think. Will Flash beat Silverlight or will flash start to fade?

I've seen quicksilver's stuff…. they play it up to be really great, but I wanna use it first before I pass judgement.

It is an interesting setup tho, because flash has all the background and history, but microsoft has the power. it'll be a fun battle to watch. :D

fair enough. don't you just hate seeing a site totally done in flash?

So far i worked with silverlight its to complcated and yes ActionScripts 3 sucks. i wish a new format was born maybe a joint venture So far i think adobes got this espacally since they had so many years tio devolp flash. What i am hoping is this might start some nice effect where they both race trying to produce a greater product. maybe we can finally make some leaps and bounds instead of this sloth they call action scripts

Microsoft wants to compete with every business. but still I think it might be pretty cool >.< do you think it will come with the newer computers made after they release it?
