Paging file.

I found The paging file option while speeding up one of my computers and did some research on it. Windows uses a paging file like ram?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? please tell me i didnt just waste 100$ getting 2 gigs of dual channel ram for my comp when i could have just converted some hard drive space. Anyone know of any reasons why anyone buys any ram if a paing file can substiturte for it?

RAM is WAY faster. you're much better off having your 2gb of ram than 2gb of virtual ram. actually I'd turn it off altogether if you have enough ram, which you should for most things.

yea ram is much much faster then virtual ram.
